Phillip Gaddy
September 15, 1966 - June 24, 2008
Phillip Gaddy, son of the late James Watt Gaddy and Barbara Jean Henly Gaddy, was born on September 15, 1966 and departed this life suddenly on June 24, 2008.
Phil, as everyone who knew him affectionately called him, was a fun loving and generous soul. He was the one to call on, and was a dedicated father and friend.
He was raised in Baltimore City where he attended and graduated from Fairmont Hill High School. Phil worked many years for Solo Cup Company, and was presently employed with Sorfira in Aberdeen, MD. As a stockperson.
Phillip’s favorite pastime was his Play station game, a good movie and a cold beer. He had a real love for life, which included his pride and joy, his son, Phillip Jr. Phillip was also a father and role model to his two step-sons, Roland and Rodney Gaines.
Phillip’s bright smile and energetic personality touched all who knew him, He was a true friend and devoted father and will be sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by: four brothers, James Watt Gaddy, Robert Lee Gaddy, Elijah Gaddy Jr. and Ronell Gaddy.
He leaves to remember his life, brother, Samuel Gaddy of Glen Aburnie, Md.; six sisters, Ozzie B. Campbell of Baltimore, Md., Betty Louise Sturdivant of Wadesboro, N.C., Patricia Little Herman of Lilesville, N.C., Sharon Polk of Baltimore, Md., Shiela Gaddy of Baltimore, Md. and Barbara Gaddy of New York; son, Phillip Gaddy Jr.; two step-sons, Roland Gaines Jr. and Rodney Gaines; mother of his sons, Tonya Hatchett; a beat friend, George Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
